For whatever reason, this week just felt like a pizza week, but truth-be-told, every week could be pizza week because that stuff is freakin’ amazing! Especially with this ridiculously easy pizza dough recipe. It literally takes about 5 minutes to make (maybe less).

For this pizza I decided to keep it simple and go with a classic margherita style pizza with tomato sauce, fresh tomatoes, basil and mozzarella, topped off with a sprinkle of salt! So simple, so good!

How to Grill Corn VIDEO

How to Grill Corn | bsinthekitchen.com #corn #barbecue #bsinthekitchen

Did you have braces?

Does the thought of corn terrify you?

If so, I apologize in advance, this post is not for you, but for the sake of others I must go on! In the latest installment of Tablespoon.com videos, I present to you “How to Grill Corn”, a quick recipe video detailing the process of grilling corn in their husks to some bumpin’ tunes (made by yours truly)!

I was blessed with straight teeth, and fortunately didn’t have to exile my pearly whites to years behind bars. As a result, my love for corn has remained strong and every summer when corn is in season, I fully embrace it!

Check out the video below and the full blog post here: http://quick-dish.tablespoon.com/2013/07/17/how-to-grill-corn/.

Italian Portobello “Pizza”

Italian Portobello "Pizza" | bsinthekitchen.com #pizza #lowcarb #bsinthekitchen

This is one of those “non-recipe” recipes, where I just toss a bunch of ingredients on something until i’m satisfied! Those are the best kind of recipes anyways, right?

Now you may have noticed this isn’t actually a pizza, more a faux-pizza, using delicious toppings you might find on a pizza but rather than pizza dough, I use a portobello mushroom! Low-carb and delicious, not that I particularly care about low-carb, but I DO care about delicious!

Steak & Blue Cheese Sandwich

Steak & Blue Cheese Sandwich | bsinthekitchen.com #lunch #sandwich #bsinthekitchen

In the final round of steak leftovers, I give you one more steak and blue cheese inspired dish! Probably one of the most typical ways to use up leftover steak is in a sandwich of course! This one is pretty much a combination of the last two dishes I posted, but stuck between two slices of bread! Once again using the tangy blue cheese dressing, loading the sandwich with veggies, steak, and even some leftover caramelized onions! YUM!

Roasted Cauliflower Mash (a.k.a Faux Mashed Potatoes)

Roasted Cauliflower Mash (a.k.a. Faux Mashed Potatoes) | bsinthekitchen.com #cauliflower #healthy #bsinthekitchen

Yesterday I posted a simple Roasted Cauliflower recipe, and today I am following it up with this delicious roasted cauliflower mash! Given how impressed I was with the flavour of the roasted cauliflower, I was even more impressed with these faux mashed potatoes! They were awesome!

Roasted Cauliflower

Roasted Cauliflower | bsinthekitchen.com #cauliflower #healthy #bsinthekitchen

Let’s start by saying I don’t really like cauliflower, but I bought some because it was on sale…story of my life. I had high hopes for this head of cauliflower, but I felt the light fading as it sat in my fridge for one month…and then another month…

Yeah. Two months.

The Greek Grilled Cheese

The Greek Grilled Cheese | bsinthekitchen.com #grilledcheese #sandwich #bsinthekitchen

I’m stepping out of my usual ooey gooey, melty grilled cheese territory with this one! It’s a veggie packed, crunchy, creamy grilled cheese, and it’s delicious! A traditional greek salad, in sandwich form! Since feta is a more solid cheese, you don’t get that stringy meltyness from it when it heats up, instead it retains it’s shape for the most part, but gets extra creamy, which is equally delicious and a nice change! I was slightly concerned about how well the cucumbers would hold up under the heat (soggy cucumbers are gross!), but they remained crunchy, taking on a more pickle like crunch, rather than the cucumbers usual fresh crunch.

The Swiss Mushroom Melt Grilled Cheese

The Swiss Mushroom Melt Grilled Cheese | bsinthekitchen.com #grilledcheese #sandwich #bsinthekitchen

Another day, another grilled cheese! And a fine one at that! Juicy mushrooms, encompassed in stringy, melted swiss cheese. MMM MMM! Sauteing whole mushrooms, rather than chopping or slicing them, gives this sandwich some great meatiness as you bite into it, getting a big juicy mushroom, mixing with the swiss cheese flavour! Soo good!

Roasted Red Pepper, Portobello & Goat Cheese Grilled Cheese

Roasted Red Pepper, Portobello & Goat Cheese Grilled Cheese | bsinthekitchen.com #grilledcheese #portobello #bsinthekitchen

Given the popularity of this wrap Carlene made a while back, I knew I had to do a grilled cheese version of it! Well folks, it’s popular for a reason! This was so delicious! Meaty portobello mushroom, sweet roasted red pepper, fresh basil, and all that creamy goat cheese! I can still taste it! This one takes a little more prep work since you have to roast the red pepper, and portobello mushroom, but that just means tossing them in the oven for 30 minutes while you do other things!

Ricotta & Spinach Stuffed Spinach Ravioli

 Ricotta & Spinach Stuffed Spinach Ravioli | bsinthekitchen.com #ravioli #spinach #bsinthekitchen

Rather than try and combine both posts into one, I decided to create another one, as some people might be turned off by the idea of deep fried ravioli, and not notice that you can boil these into healthier, delicious ravioli!

Start off by making this Spinach Pasta Dough, once that is made proceed to the recipe.
