Shortly after discovering Bon Appetempt, I began watching their videos and not so […]

Plum, Bacon, Blue Cheese & Brie Grilled Cheese

April 26th, 2013 · 3 Comments · Cheese, Dinner, Fruit, grilled cheese, Lunch, National Grilled Cheese Month, Sandwich

Ripe juicy plum, touches of sweet honey, the always satisfying salty/smokey/meaty bacon, brie melting all over it, and a touch of pungent blue cheese to pull it all together! This was probably one of the most interesting flavour profiles out of all the grilled cheeses I have done, and I loved it!

April 24th, 2013 · 5 Comments · Cheese, Dinner, grilled cheese, Lunch, National Grilled Cheese Month, Sandwich

March 2nd, 2013 · 1 Comment · breakfast, Egg, Healthy, Vegetable, Wrap

Being new to collard greens, I am quite the fan, the large, hearty leaves make a great vegetable side dish, or a great vehicle for other ingredients! Although I kind of failed at this being a healthy recipe (see: bacon & cheese), using a collard green as a wrap instead of your typical tortilla style […]

Herb Rubbed Pork & Salsa Verde Sandwich

February 1st, 2013 · 3 Comments · left overs, Pork, Sandwich

After making the Herb Rubbed Pork Loin the other week, in the spirit of Meat & Bread I felt obligated to make a sandwich with the leftovers! Unfortunately, I only made the pork loin to test out the spice blend and didn’t have any crackling for the sandwich! Regardless, this was a pretty tasty sandwich, […]
