I’ve always really liked carrot cake, but I’ve never actually made it before. This is likely because it’s one of my grandma’s specialities. However the calling came for a traditional dessert for a family dinner, I decided to give it a whirl and I’m quite happy with the results! It’s a classic homemade carrot cake that’s promised to make everyone happy. Continue reading

If anyone is looking for a fairly quick and impressive recipe, salted caramels may just be up your alley! I’ve made my original salted caramel recipe a few times now and just about have it down to a science, but this time I wanted to do something a bit different,so I decided to add some vanilla beans to it. I think we’ve chatted about this on the blog before, but sometimes us foodies (aka. nickname for food bloggers out there), just don’t have the time or creative energy to make a huge dynamic & showy meal, well that’s where these quick and easy ones come in. Below is a quick (maybe 5-10 mins to make) pasta that’s healthy, light and full of protein.
