If anyone is looking for a fairly quick and impressive recipe, salted caramels may just be up your alley! I’ve made my original salted caramel recipe a few times now and just about have it down to a science, but this time I wanted to do something a bit different,so I decided to add some vanilla beans to it. Seriously though, who doesn’t love the warm aroma of vanilla beans and the gorgeous little brown specs of beans really add a level of sophistication to a dish. Sundried Tomato Hummus

Here is a quick posting for some hummus I made using a recipe from another cooking blog here. I decided to add some extra flavour by putting in some sundried tomatoes. Just follow this recipe but add sundried tomatoes into the hummus and puree until you are satisfied with the extra flavour. Enjoy with some pita/tortilla chips or your favourite veggies!

As many of you dedicated BS’ers may know, there is a baking club at my new place of employment. Well my turn to bring treats for the Treat of the Week Club isn’t until the end of March, but I was tapped in early. Since I haven’t made some fancy cupcakes lately, I decided to make these Chocolate Cupcakes with a rich Espresso Bean Buttercream icing.
