To go along with the pulled pork Carlene was making for our Sunday family supper, I wanted a bright, tangy slaw to contrast the rich, smokey pulled pork flavour. With that idea in mind, I went with a cabbage/apple slaw, and started mixing in ingredients until I got what I was looking for!

If you caught it a couple posts ago, you already know the genesis of this french toast idea, which came to be as I was fork deep in my Peanut Butter & Banana Stuffed French Toast. While many would wait and just make it the next day, there is no stifling french toast innovation in my kitchen! So with a belly full of Peanut Butter & Banana French Toast I went about (sluggishly) creating my second breakfast of the day! (Followed by a food coma and a subsequent trip to the gym!)
