To continue on our holiday donut theme for CTV Morning Live Saskatoon, here is the Mistletoe donut to go along side The Relative and Santa’s Milk & Cookies. Now you are probably wondering… ‘what the heck… why is it a mistletoe donut?’….well with this little donut packing some Kahlua and Skor Toffee bits, it’s rather easy to read between the lines and maybe if you have a little bit of Kahlua and you’re under the mistletoe, you’ll “skor” (…a kiss…). Now let’s get to this feisty little donut.

As many of you may know, Bob & I have been asked to blog in part to celebrate a cooking goddess’s birthday….Miss Julia Child! Now it’s my turn for this round and luckily the draw came out with a dessert – Mousseline Au Chocolat (aka. Chocolate Mousse) – to be exact! I have to admit that I was pretty scared to try this recipe because I thought it would be extremely challenging, but boy was I wrong, it was super easy & SUPER delicious! I also switched up JC’s classic mousse a bit….but let’s get to this recipe so you can see what I changed

I suppose I’m coming to that age where people start settling down and getting married. Last night I attended the stagette of a fellow team member on my basketball team, for the sake of the internet & internet creepers, we’ll call her Lady Roch (we’ll just avoid that high school nickname…if you really want to know it, trace back a few years in the paper haha). As stagettes are commonly filled with male anatomy, food and booze, I thought what better to bring that booze flavored cupcakes and a delicious appetizer of brie cheese and mango chutney (watch for another post in the near future). Enjoy the recipes & be sure to comment below!
