Anybody else out there enjoy the awkward and hilarious online cooking show made by food blog Bon Appetempt? About two months ago, I was going on a 3AM Vimeo food video binge when I came across Bon Appetempt’s “30-Minute Meal?” video. Shortly after discovering Bon Appetempt, I began watching their videos and not so shortly after, I had finished all of them. They are awesome. Go see for yourself!
Technically a mozzarella stick is already grilled cheese…The bread just dried up, fell apart and reunited in the form of crumbs surrounding that delicious stick of mozzarella! Of course, I wasn’t about to make a mozzarella stick and call it a grilled cheese, so I went about breading this delicious sandwich with panko crumbs to create the Mozzarella Stick Grilled Cheese!

Cheese on cheese on cheese on carbs on carbs on carbs!!! If this grilled cheese could sing, that’s probably what it would be yelling at the top its cheesy lungs. Five grilled cheeses in, and i’m already talking about grilled cheeses singing and having lungs…it’s gonna be a long month.

After making “The Canadian”, I had an abundance of pepperoni and mozzarella cheese leftover. In my efforts to use the rest of it, I had a stroke of genius, creating Pepperoni Stuffed Mozzarella Sticks! Having never made homemade mozzarella sticks, I thought stuffing pepperoni in them might not be the smartest move, but screw it! I did it anyways! While the process of making them was a little tedious, the end result was delicious! Here’s how it went down!

Baked onion rings have been on my to-do list for a couple months now, so having plenty of free time this long weekend I finally got around to trying them out! While they can be a little bit time consuming (from unpeeled onion – to onion ring in my mouth, it probably took around an hour to an hour and a half), they were definitely worth it!

I first saw fried pickles awhile back and thought, what a strange, but interesting combination that was. Since then and more recently my eyes have come across more fried pickles and figured what the heck, they would be easy to make and I have all the ingredients so let’s try ‘em! After texting Carlene and telling her about the next blog recipe I was going to make, it became clear we share the same brainwaves. She responds “I just bought all the ingredients to make those!”, well sister, looks like I beat you to the punch! BUT maybe we will get lucky and she will do a bit of a twist and share her recipe too!
Anyways.

Since we had a frost warning yesterday, I went out to the garden in my backyard to help my Mother pick all of the tomatoes, peppers and zucchinis so we had plenty of fresh vegetables in the house!
