As many of you may have already read from Bob’s Beer Can Chicken post, we were recently back on CTV Morning Live with our good friend and fabulous anchor (and apparently my twin – as I was stopped at a local coffee shop later that afternoon asking if I co-hosted the morning news!), Stephanie Massicotte. Bob covered the savoury dish with his chicken, so I was back tackling the sweets with these ice cream tacos. These tacos are so fun and simple, so don’t hold back the reins. Be fully creative and see what kind of ice cream tacos your imagination can come up with! Read on for the easy, and kid friendly, recipe.

I had this for breakfast…don’t judge me.
Come on, it’s not that bad, plenty of dairy, fruit, some carbs, a little sugar to get that blood pressure up, add in a cup off coffee and you’re ready for an epic day.

A fellow food lover, baker and chef – not to mention friend – shared this delicious recipe with me! I’ve never eaten or tried to make meatloaf, so this was an adventure for me. Something must have turned out because this recipe was EXTREMELY delicious and I will definitely be making this again! Tip of the hat goes to HW for this recipe!

Today we have a special guest, the woman who made all of this possible…OUR MOTHER! Every year she makes this highly addictive, yet extremely simple Christmas treat known as “Crispix Mix”. Now the name doesn’t fairly represent how amazing this stuff is, but take a look at the pictures, try it yourself and believe me it is AMAZING!

Before eating this creation, I never thought of quinoa to be a breakfast food, to me it was just a salad adder or rice replacement. But long behold it can be quite delicious for breakfast!! This early morning meal is hearty, packed with healthy options and seems very ‘fall-like’ to me! To make things even quicker in the morning, I made the quinoa the night before and tossed in the ‘extras’ in the morning! Don’t be afraid to alter this recipe to your taste, adding more fruit and nuts, other spices, etc. Remember, it’s your breakfast!! Let’s get to the recipe:
