With fall upon us, out come the sweaters, colorful leaves, and MASSIVE amounts of Autumn inspired food appearing in the blogosphere! Not wanting to leave our blog out of all the action, I present to you Halloween Pumpkin  Pasta! As I was actually shopping for some new fall clothes (think thick plaid button-up shirts, and comfy sweaters) when I came across this awesome looking pasta. With our other ventures into striped pasta garnering an impressive number of hits, I knew this had to be blogged! Fried Pickles

I first saw fried pickles awhile back and thought, what a strange, but interesting combination that was. Since then and more recently my eyes have come across more fried pickles and figured what the heck, they would be easy to make and I have all the ingredients so let’s try ’em! After texting Carlene and telling her about the next blog recipe I was going to make, it became clear we share the same brainwaves. She responds “I just bought all the ingredients to make those!”, well sister, looks like I beat you to the punch! BUT maybe we will get lucky and she will do a bit of a twist and share her recipe too!

Anyways.

Let’s get to this recipe. It was strange but tasty (as evidenced by the empty bowl  I found myself with afterwards…).

A Black & White Affair: Bring your bowties! (aka Potato Bacon Pasta)

Today I bring you my Christmas present. Well one of them.

Carlene bought me some fancy black and white farfalle pasta (now pasta for Christmas would be like coal for some people, but I was excited!) for exclusive use with the blog and I finally got around to cooking it. I was really hungry and wasn’t sure how to use it, so I went for something quick and simple.
