Initially I had no plans on posting this recipe and was just making it because I was hungry, but after I made it, cut it in half and tried a little piece that fell out, it was too delicious and beautiful not to post! Fortunately my camera was close by and I snapped a few quick pictures. This is a really simple recipe and a great way to take your regular old sandwich to the next level!
Sautéed Spinach & Turkey Sandwich
- Sprinkle of Garlic Powder
- 1 Roma Tomato
- 3 Slices Turkey Breast Deli Meat
- Handful of spinach
- Salt & Pepper
- Cheddar Cheese
- Ciabatta Bread
- Mayonnaise
- Butter
Put a little bit of butter in a pan on medium heat, once that is melted toss your spinach into the pan. Cut up your turkey breast and toss that in the pan with some a light sprinkling of garlic powder and some salt and pepper. While you are sautéing the sandwich filling, lightly toast your ciabatta bread if you wish! Once the spinach has started to wilt, toss in a handful of shredded cheddar cheese (more or less if you want), mixing it around until melted into the turkey and spinach.
Once your bread is finished toasting, butter the bottom slice and spread mayo on the top slice, then pile your spinach and turkey mixture onto the bottom bun, top with a few slices of tomato, put the sandwich together and enjoy!
A quick and easy way to elevate your regular old turkey sandwich!
Enjoy!
