Combine all of the ingredients into a Ziploc bag, mixing around chicken, and allow to marinate for at least an hour.
Once chicken has finished marinating, allow to sit at room temperature for about 20-30 minutes.
Preheat your barbecue to medium heat for about 10-15 minutes.
Once your grill has preheated, cook your chicken for about 15-20 minutes (or until its internal temperature reaches 165F).
Rotate chicken approximately every five minutes, allowing it to cook evenly on all sides and give you delicious skin!
Halfway through the cooking process, brush the leftover marinade on the chicken whenever you rotate it.
Once chicken has finished cooking, remove from heat and allow it to rest for 10-15 minutes.
Serve with rice and a sprinkle of chopped green onion!
