Happy 2nd Year Anniversary & Birthday to BS in the Kitchen

April 23, 2012 by bsinthekitchen 9 Comments

WOW. It’s hard to believe that we’ve been blogging for two years already! I think over the past 730 days, we’ve learnt a lot about food, cooking/baking styles and blogging. However, we are the most grateful for all the support we’ve gotten from our awesome BS’ers – our fans!! THANK-YOU for your awesome support over the past two years! We are excited to continue blogging for you & to bring many more fabulous recipes!

To say thank-you to our fans we’d like to do two things. One we are going to announce today, while the other will be announced over the next few weeks:

  1. For our Home Town – Saskatoon, SK – fans – comment below (either through the FB app or regular comments) with your favourite cupcake flavour, your dream cupcake creation or a cupcake flavour you’d dare us to try to make. We will draw one lucky winner to have two dozen cupcakes delivered to your door – hand baked & decorated by Carlene!
  2. For all our other fans from all over the world – stay tuned, we’re slow cooking something great for you!

Thanks again everyone for your fabulous support! We are going to close the Saskatoon Fan Cupcake Contest on May 4th at 11:30 PM CST. Good luck to everyone – we can’t wait to hear of all of your fabulous cupcake requests/ideas!

Thank-you for the support over the past two years!

Carlene & Bob

I would like you to make my favorite ice cream, chocolate chip cookie dough, into a cupcake, that would be awesome.
Other than that I like spice cupcakes, with eggnog icing.
Congrats on the 2 years 🙂

i like a classic chocolate cupcake with pb icing, but something fruity (lemon?) would be good too as long as the icing is good but not too sweet.
