Prosciutto Wrapped Garlic Shrimp

December 28, 2010 by bsinthekitchen 6 Comments

Here is a quick, easy and delicious appetizer anyone can make for parties or just for snacking!

Prosciutto Wrapped Garlic Shrimp

  • Shrimp
  • Prosciutto
  • Butter
  • Garlic Plus

Directions

There are different ways you can make this recipe, but in this case, I actually just used some leftover shrimp in my fridge that had been boiled. First fry or boil the shrimp until they are pink and cooked (a little undercooked it fine, as you will fry them again with the prosciutto). Once you have all your shrimp cooked, let them cool, and take two-three tablespoons of butter and mix in about a tablespoon of garlic plus (you can vary this depending how strong you want it). After mixing the butter and garlic plus together, spread some on each shrimp and wrap them tightly with the prosciutto. After all your shrimp are wrapped, fry them until the prosciutto gets nice and crispy, spear them with toothpicks and enjoy!

Forgive me of my ignorance but I am currently just starting to learn to cook in depth but what exactly is garlic plus?

      It’s a spice by clubhouse –> http://www.clubhouse.ca/en/products/detail.aspx?Garlic_Plus&id=fb05de5a-de2e-4a9c-88b5-a5a0ae13ae80

      Garlic powder could also work.
