As of late this blog has been looking more like S’ In the Kitchen and that just isn’t quite as catchy as BS’ In The Kitchen, so here I am back with a new post and an exciting new series for all you bachelors out there: Bach’n It With Bob! I’ve been consumed by work so my cooking time is quite limited, therefore I will be posting a nice, quick and easy recipe that works great with leftovers.
Chicken Fried Rice
- Rice
- Chicken
- Spice (Whatever you like to use)
- Egg
- Soya Sauce
- Teriyaki Sauce
- Veggies of choice
- Onion
- Butter
Since I had no leftover chicken, I started a pan cooking the chicken with some spices and some teriyaki sauce and decided to be adventurous and throw in some frozen vegetables as our garden is not producing these wonderful veggies yet.
Next up was the rice. The beauty of this chicken fried rice is the fact that it works well with leftover rice, which is something we always make extra of in our household. Just put the rice in your pan with some butter, onions and throw some veggies and spices in if you would like as well. Let it cook for a bit and then put some soya sauce on it and throw some eggs in it.
Once this is all done just toss the chicken in the rice pan and let it cook together while you mix it all up and voila! Dinner served!
