Homemade Blueberry Vinaigrette

March 12, 2011 by bsinthekitchen

If anyone makes their own dressing, they know they’ll never go back to buying it bottled! And the best thing about homemade dressing or vinaigrettes? It’s INCREDIBLY easy.

Combine the following ingredients into a food processor and blend until completely mixed:

  • 1 1/4 cup Fresh Blueberries (could substitute with Saskatoon berries or raspberries, blackberries, etc.)
  • 1/4 cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1 tbsp Agave Syrup
  • 1 tsp Course Ground Black Pepper
  • 3 tbsp Balsamic Vinegar

Try to use the vinaigrette immediately (or the day after) as it doesn’t store that well. If you made substitutions to the recipe feel free to share it in the comments below! 🙂
