Here is another appetizer I made for a potluck a while back, as with many things on this cooking blog, it was also the first time I have tried making stuffed mushroom caps. They are very easy and very delish!
To start things off, wash the mushrooms and pull the stems out from the caps so you have a nice little hollow for the stuffing.
Now here goes the recipe for the stuffing:
Stuffed Mushroom Caps
- 75 Mushrooms
- 250 Grams Cream Cheese (1 Bar)
- ¾ Cup Parmesan Cheese
- ½ Cup Onions
- 4 Tbsp Three Cheese Ranch Dressing
- 4 Strips of Bacon
- 2 Tsp Chopped Garlic
- Parsley Flakes
- Shake & Bake (Breadcrumbs)
For the stuffing start cooking the bacon in a pan while you are preparing everything else and warm the cream cheese in the microwave to soften it up. Once that has started, take the mushroom stems and onions and blend them in a food processor. Once this is done you can just mix everything (minus the parsley and breadcrumbs) in a bowl and voila! Stuff the mushrooms with your stuffing mixture and then dip the tops in the breadcrumbs and parsley flakes.
Cooking instructions:
- Heat oven to 350° F and cook the mushroom caps for about 20 minutes.
These were very easy and soooo good (I think i ate about fifteen), definitely great for any potluck or party where you are in need of some delicious appetizers.
