Watermelon Salad

August 19, 2011 by bsinthekitchen 2 Comments

It’s official. Summer is here and watermelons are on sale at the grocery store. Do you love watermelon but wonder what kind of things you can do to spruce up the classic summer fruit? Well try this salad at your next summer gathering.

  • Watermelon (cubed & chilled)
  • Fresh basil (cut into small strips)
  • Fresh mint (cut into small strips)
  • Feta Cheese

Use in proportion to size of your salad (or add more of your favourite ingredients – in my case, feta). Enjoy this light and fresh summer salad.
