Quick & Easy Egg Sandwich

November 11, 2010 by bsinthekitchen

So I think there’s sometimes a lot of perceptions around food bloggers that we always eat excellently prepared food which is beautifully plated all the time…. well I’m here to bring you back to reality. It’s not true! Some times we’re rushed, haven’t had time to get groceries or are just flat out exhausted from a long day of work to make a good meal!

So in the spirit of being busy, here is one my quick and easy breakfast meals that I like to make: The Egg Sandwich.

Ingredients & Supplies you’ll need:

  • Two Eggs
  • A round ziploc bowl
  • English Muffin
  • Ketchup
  • Salt and Pepper
  • Dill
  • Bacon bits
  • Slice of Cheese

Crack the two eggs into the lightly greased ziplock bowl and scramble. Place the eggs into the microwave for 2 minutes. While the eggs are “cooking”, place the English muffin in the toaster. Once the egg and English muffin are done, stack together with a slice of cheese, a bit of ketchup and sprinkle with a bit of dill, the bacon bits, salt and pepper. Feel free to add in any other delicious goodies you make have around the house from tomatoes, lettuce, mushrooms, any other spices, etc.

Grab & go! Happy mornings everyone!

Carlene
