Peanut Chicken Chow Mein

October 5, 2010 by bsinthekitchen

This is a recipe I had made a while ago when trying to find out how to use up some old noodles in my pantry, but never had great pictures of it. Since it was so easy and delicious I wanted to make sure I made it again and put it on the blog! You can find the original recipe here: Thai Peanut Stir Fry

For my version I cut out a few ingredients because I didn’t have it around the house, but here is what I did.

Peanut Chicken Chow Mein

  • 3 Tbsp Peanut Butter
  • 2 Tbsp White Wine Vinegar
  • 3 Tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 2 Tbsp Brown Sugar
  • 2 Tsp Garlic Power
  • Pinch of Ground Ginger
  • Frank’s Red Hot Sauce

Mix all this together in a sauce pan and heat til everything has blended together. In a separate pan put the sliced chicken along with whatever veggies you like into it and cook with some salt, pepper and soy sauce. Once the chicken and chow mein is cooked, mix the chow mein, sauce and chicken in the frying pan and cook for about five minutes.

Nice and easy!

So go out and try it for yourself when you need a quick tasty dish.

Bob
