xanax for sale

Anybody else out there enjoy the awkward and hilarious online cooking show made by food blog Bon Appetempt? About two months ago, I was going on a 3AM Vimeo food video binge when I came across Bon Appetempt’s “30-Minute Meal?” video. Shortly after discovering Bon Appetempt, I began watching their videos and not so shortly after, I had finished all of them. They are awesome. Go see for yourself!

Yesterday I posted a simple Roasted Cauliflower recipe, and today I am following it up with this delicious roasted cauliflower mash! Given how impressed I was with the flavour of the roasted cauliflower, I was even more impressed with these faux mashed potatoes! They were awesome!

Roasted Cauliflower

Roasted Cauliflower | bsinthekitchen.com #cauliflower #healthy #bsinthekitchen

Let’s start by saying I don’t really like cauliflower, but I bought some because it was on sale…story of my life. I had high hopes for this head of cauliflower, but I felt the light fading as it sat in my fridge for one month…and then another month…

Yeah. Two months.

Slow Cooker Pork and Beans

Slow Cooker Pork and Beans from www.bsinthekitchen.com | #pork #slowcooker #beans

Here is some new news for all your BS’ers out there: I’ve started a new job in Communications in the world of potash! I work out at one of our mine sites, about forty minutes from my house, so the slow cooker has once again been my new favourite cooking appliance. It’s nice to come home to a warm cooked meal as soon as you step in the door and after a long day of work. I found the inspiration from a great Food & Fitness blog that focuses on a lot of healthy recipes. Let’s get to this recipe! Continue reading

Baked French Fries

Baked French Fries | bsinthekitchen.com #frenchfries #healthy #bsinthekitchen

Anyone who buys those bags of frozen french fries is just cheating themselves. Especially if you have potatoes in your cupboard. These things are so simple, so delicious, and just look at how beautiful they are! Your frozen potato sticks don’t come close! Grab a russet potato, slice it up, bake it and feel the guilt wash away as you eat these non-deep fried homemade beauties (and then feel guilty as you realize you just ate a ton…oops!). Stay tuned for a much less guilt-free recipe coming in the next day or two using these tasty things! (can you guess what it might be??)

I’ve been Pinterest plagued again…. My Pinterest wall has become overloaded with delicious looking recipes for Roasted Chickpeas. And wow these were great – the perfect amount of crunch for a really delightful snack. Let’s get to this recipe…. Continue reading

Collard Green Scrambled Egg Wrap

Collard Green Scrambled Egg Wrap | bsinthekitchen.com #breakfast #healthy #bsinthekitchen

Being new to collard greens, I am quite the fan, the large, hearty leaves make a great vegetable side dish, or a great vehicle for other ingredients! Although I kind of failed at this being a healthy recipe (see: bacon & cheese), using a collard green as a wrap instead of your typical tortilla style wrap, is a great low carb alternative! Of course if you want deprive yourself, you can take out the bacon and cheese, making it uber healthy! I say spoil yourself though, put the good stuff in!

Blood Orange Greek Yogurt with Chocolate Balsamic Vinegar

Blood Orange Greek Yogurt with Chocolate Balsamic Vinegar | bsinthekitchen.com #breakfast #dessert #bsinthekitchen

As with most people, what I eat is often dictated by what I have left in my fridge. In this case it was Greek yogurt and blood oranges. Peeling the orange, and tossing them into a bowl, I sweetened it with some honey and added a drizzle of chocolate balsamic vinegar for some pizzazz, and had myself a wonderful breakfast!

Lemon Pepper Seared Tuna

Lemon Pepper Seared Tuna | bsinthekitchen.com #tuna #dinner #bsinthekitchen

In an effort to alleviate the pressures of Valentines Day, I bring you Seared Tuna! A gift sure to please many! Well not exactly a gift…but for those looking to cook an impressive and tasty supper, yet fearing a dinner date disaster, this one is for you. Seared tuna is a pretty fail safe entree if you ask me. Its like coloring in the lines. Literally. As it cooks, watching the side of your tuna steak, you can see the color gradually change from the dark to light, telling you how done it is, and if that’s not enough, it takes less than five minutes to cook!!

For those people who haven’t cooked tuna, just think about this: It’s one of the few things that actually tastes good coming from a can (canned chicken, ham, corned beef – BARF). Okay Canned Unicorn Meat would probably be amazing, but I digress. Let’s get to the recipe (there’s not much to it).

Hearty Beet Soup

Roughly a week ago my good friend (and uber-ultra-superbly talented photographer), Lauren made this soup during one of our little editing date nights and I just LOVED it! It was light, hearty and full of flavour. I knew I’d have to recreate it. Luckily for me, I already had all of the simple ingredients in my fridge. Let’s get to this great and easy soup!
